Child Care Development Program

infant

We  provide  a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where your infant  explore and make new discoveries.  Your infants grow and learn  everyday.  We will try our best to help your child grow happy and  healthy and will help your child to learn and discover new things  everyday.   We  help child to improve mobility and  coordination by supporting your  baby as he or she rolls from side to side and learns to crawls, stand  and walk and meet your child's individual needs for rest and nutrition.  We  communicate with your child verbally and through non-verbal gesture. We  tell stories and sing songs to model conversational skills and we use  picture books to build association between sounds, objects and words.  And also we provide crayons, home-made paint and other tools that  promote artistic exploration and creativity.  We  will prepare your child to think and reason by helping your child  explore the concepts of cause-and-effect and trial-and-error; and we  will encourage  your child to use all five senses to discover the world.

TODDLER

As  toddlers develop friendship, self-steem and curiosity, our program will  help them explore the world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through hands-on experiences. Each  day is filled with fun activities that excite and help toddlers develop  in ways that give them the comfort and confidence to grow and develop  cognitively and socially.

  • We help  your child to learn about the world. We provide opportunities to  identify basic colors and shapes; bring concepts of cause-and-effect to  life through storytelling, music and art; and model and will encourage  your child to practice sorting and matching.
  • We encourage  your child to interact with other children in group activities; guide  the development of sharing and listening skills; model how to express  emotions appropriately.

  • We  use storytelling and word games to help your child practice imitating  and responding, asking questions, and following simple direction,  provide practice naming familiar items and support rich vocabulary  development.

  • Math - this helps your child recognizing and counting numbers  1-100, "more than" and less than" identifying as well as drawing shapes  and simple patters, meaning of addition and subtraction.
  • Writing - this helps your child practice handwriting by drawing lines,  curves, repeated patterns and dots  for 2 to 3 years old; and drawing  pictures of object, tracing letters and word practice.  We make art a  regular part of play time.

LIFE/SELF CARE SKILLS(Examples: Putting your child's shoes on by him/herself, eating, dressing up, cleaning up and more..)
LEARNING THROUGH PLAY Play is essential, vital, critical, and fundamental to a child's social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. The  natural activity of early childhood, play is what children do and their  way of life. For young children there is no distinction between play  and learning;  they are one and the same. Playing is a priority in early  childhood, yet not all play is the same.

  • Active play: running, jumping, climbing, riding, dancing and other use of large muscles.
  • Quiet play:  reading, stringing, coloring, etc.
  • Cooperative or social play: games and other activities that involve more than one.
  • Solitary play: drawing, dreaming, and other activities that involves only one.
  • Manipulative  play: putting together puzzles, building with blocks, cutting and  pasting and other activities that involves eye-hand coordination or fine  motor skills.
  • Creative play:  painting, molding, solving problems, making music, telling stories and  other activities that involves a child's imagination.
  • Dramatic play: dress-up, make-believe and other play that involves pretending
